So yesterday Maggie took Brandon to the park and as usual she took him on one of the electric scooters… I’ve been uncomfortable with her riding with him for a very long time and kept telling her not to do it but it’s hard to argue with your wife sigh. Anyway yesterday they both took a tumble, Brandon is ok but Maggie took a bit of a hit.

Maggie wouldn’t let me take a picture of her mouth but her upper lip required 4 stitches to close the wound though the doctor said it won’t leave a scar so she’s happy about that. Still she’ll have to go to see the dentist today because she thinks she knocked some teeth loose.  At around 9PM, I called my mom and asked if she could meet me at my house so I left Maggie at North York general, took the boy home put him to bed changed then left to go back to be with her.

It’s very frustrating because I’ve always told Maggie I felt it was unsafe for her and Brandon to ride together, well now she understands.  The doctor says it’ll take about 4 weeks to recover from her injuries, sigh now people will think I beat my wife when we go out…
