Lots of Brandon day!

This morning Maggie went to play badminton so I took Brandon to the bluffs to feed the birds…  The weather was nice and I figure we should do it before it gets too cold and as usual, Brandon had a great time. 🙂  I just love how he calls all the animals his friends, there’s so much innocence in my boy…

We brought a lot of bread and there were a ton of birds, Brandon likes the Canadian geese and the swans the most.  Seagulls can be a bit aggressive and he sometimes is afraid of them when they get close but we had a good morning.

In the afternoon we met up with the Beaver colony at a park to pick up some trash and I’m surprised how much Brandon got into it!

From early on we’ve tried to teach Brandon to respect nature and this type of activity certainly helps reinforce that message.  We picked up just over two bags of garbage, lol in the last pic I was just laughing that most people prefer to take pictures away from garbage but all the kids proudly stood in front of their haul.  Was surprised to see two bikes and other heavy trash but good on these kids and parents for doing their part.

Afterwards, Brandon wanted to play at the park since this was a new one.

It was pretty advanced and he had a blast climbing on new things.  There were a couple of times where he was afraid but with some positive encouragement he was able to overcome and lol I was very proud.

We didn’t do much the rest of the day, I’m organizing with Brayden & Brian to do a night shooting class that’ll be fun but more on that later when I have more details.
