Last night after work I got my mom to look after Brandon and took Maggie out for dinner and a movie.  We had Korean food at this restaurant under our old condo and walked around Yonge & Finch which was nice because it brought back a lot of old fun memories.  As for the movie, we went to see The Martian and I was pretty stoked to see it because I heard that the science was good and overall it was, at least till the end but that’s Hollywood.  I enjoyed it and definitely recommend it to friends who enjoy science based movies, this one hits the mark.

Today in the morning I had a bit of an emergency so I had to run to the office for about 10 minutes, it’s always interesting to go in after regular business hours as most of the lights are off, it’s super quiet and pretty eerie.  Anyway I was able to swing down to work and back before Maggie came home from grocery shopping so I took the time to organize my garage a bit and moved all of my dad’s belongings onto one side to make it easier for the movers to do their work.

For lunch we had dim sum which was good then Brandon went to swimming class and he’s doing pretty well all things considered.  I do enjoy watching him swim and I’m glad that he’s making the effort.

In the afternoon I cleaned the stove, it was pretty greasy so I washed the counter and oven handle thoroughly though Maggie already made a mess after cooking dinner sigh.  A bit later I packed up my guns and got stuff ready to go to the range tomorrow, there may be a bit of rain but meh I got wet weather gear so I’m not worried. 🙂
