So as I mentioned previously I got into a fight with my father and unfortunately I can’t see a reconciliation happening, at least anytime soon.  Anyway even though we had agreed previously that Simba would stay here, he wanted the cat so fine I agreed and he came to pick him up today.  I worked from home for another reason but anyway when he arrived we didn’t speak much, he picked up the cat then left and I hate him for it.  Not because I got attached to the cat, yes Simba is cute but it’s just an animal but because of the emotional turmoil that Brandon will go through now when experiencing a loss of a pet.

I talked to Brandon about it over the weekend, telling him how grandpa will be taking Simba back and he said he understood but I think it’ll still be hard on him when Simba doesn’t greet him at the door when he comes home from school.  The picture above is from last night, Brandon was giving Simba a goodbye hug and he’s so damn sweet.  I’ve already discussed it with Maggie, we’ll go get another pet but damn you dad for being a vindictive prick.
