Thanks Estelle!

My mom returned from her quarter way around the world trip yesterday and to celebrate Estelle had a lunch gathering at her home and it was great! We didn’t tell Brandon and picked up my mom at 11:15am (told him I had to go to her home to get something) and as she walked out he had this big smile on his face, he missed her and it was very cute to watch his reaction. We also brought Slinky along, lol his shots are up to date and we wanted to see how he’d interact with Estelle’s cats.

After we arrived, Estelle and my mom walked to buy a few more groceries while we stayed back at her place and lol the other cats were not happy. Pixel is the dominant one in that home and he kept making those unhappy cat sounds and hissing at Slinky who was submissive but wasn’t really that scared of the bigger cat. The kitten just seemed to like the new place and all the “cool toys” that was available, especially the cat tree!

Hehe Pixel and Slinky looked very similar, too bad they didn’t really get along…  We had home made tacos for lunch and they were very good, lol while everyone was talking I was quietly eating and had 5 big ones haha.  My mom was sharing stories from her trip and it sounded wonderful and her next cruise will be an around the world one.  It was fun to catch up with everyone, Megan and Frank will be buying a home soon and that’s very exciting too, can’t wait to see what they end up getting.

We called it a day at around 3, Megan and Frank had to go and my mom was tired so I took her home then we relaxed at home.  At 5:45pm we left for Brandon’s skating class and I really enjoy watching him on the ice.

I did have an issue though, there were this husband and wife sitting behind me and they remarked how poorly Brandon was skating.  It bothered me but I let it slide because they didn’t know he was my son and frankly were just inconsiderate (god damn Chinese I tell you!)  Anyway a bit later the instructor was spending a bit of time with Brandon and the husband again complained, this time that he’s spending too much time with my boy so I turn around and give him a WTF look and he was quiet for the remainder of the class.

Yes their daughter was better than Brandon but who cares, it’s not like she’s a natural talent the kids are there to learn and that’s what Brandon was doing.  Had he said something else I would have spoken up because I was pretty pissed, we’ll see how things are next week.  At least Brandon is having the most fun on the ice, whenever he’s doing his stuff he always had the biggest smile on his face and I appreciate the fact that he’s trying, good for you son.

When we got home, the family ate while I cleaned a few things in the basement.  Tomorrow I’ll put up some xmas lights with Brandon and do some more housework.
