So this weekend, the Ultra Music Festival in Miami is going on, I streamed it last night and am listening to it right now.  Mmm if you like EDM, you’ll enjoy it I know I am very much.

This morning Maggie took Brandon to Sophie’s home to play again which freed up a bit of time for me (she had to work). Initially I was planning on visiting my grandmother then going to eat lunch but with Brandon playing with his friend, I went to Al Flarhetys to pick up 500 rounds of CCI 22LR Mini Mags, some grip screws for my 1911 and a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot.  The latter is going to replace the NCStar optic I have on the CSA vz-58 and it’s a much better optic.

I picked up B after lunch and we went to Scarborough Town Center to watch The Little Prince.

I thought it was a kid movie but it wasn’t, I enjoyed it very much but I think some of the plot was too advanced for him.  There were some moments where it was very sad and if Maggie came with us, she definitely would have cried.  Heh it kind of reinforced my feelings about Brandon’s childhood, I wish he wouldn’t grow up so fast because once he’s grown, the innocence of being a kid will be gone.

After the movie we came home and played, I chased him a bit and we also played the TMNT board game which he likes.  A bit later Mikey came by to drop off some stuff, he’s moving in with his new gf and well I’m happy for him.

Now, I’m just listening to Afrojack’s set. 🙂
