So last night Brandon, the Beavers and I did the Ontario Science Center sleep over and well it was pretty darn tiring for me lol.  We got to the facility at around 5:30pm, met up with Elinore, the other parents, Beavers, Cubs and cub leaders…  I’d say there were a few hundred of kids, there were groups from all over Ontario and what I think was at least one girl group from Europe.

We saw the Humpback Whales IMAX movie and as you can see pretty much played all over the facility though I’ll be frank it was pretty hard keeping everyone together as they would run off individually all the time but we managed not to lose anyone. We played around the facility from 7-11:30pm then went back to our sleeping grounds on the 6th floor so the kids could unwind.  The lights turned off at 12 and everyone went to bed, I couldn’t sleep very well as it was quite noisy and the kids kept waking me up to go to the bathroom but I signed up for this right.

Brandon was a bit apprehensive about going earlier on Saturday but he had a wonderful time and said on Sunday that he had fun.  A couple of the other Beavers are a bit more challenging but that’s how it goes, kids will be kids and I try and deal with it the best I can.

Sunday we didn’t do much, Brandon took a nap while I cleaned and put some things away.  Pretty tired right now so I think I’ll turn in early and get a lot of sleep so I recover for Monday.
