Well today was certainly busy!  This morning Brandon and I took Slinky to see the vet, I took him last Friday due to an open wound, it was mainly healed by today but it was just a follow up check.  The kitty was very good, meowed a bit on the way there and back but otherwise was very calm. After we got home, we killed a few hours went out for pho then went to pick up my mom to go to Estelle’s place.

The family was getting together to paint baby Georgia’s room but lol I lucked out and with Frank, Megan & Imran doing the work, there just wasn’t enough space for me to fit in so woo…  I spent my time taking pictures of everything and everyone and they turned out great!

Estelle is 8 months pregnant but only now do I feel she’s starting to get big.  Frank did a great job at guiding the other two at how to properly paint a room and I was glad he as there as things looked great by the time we left.  In the afternoon Brandon started to play with the neighborhood kids and it’s such a different atmosphere, the kids in Estelle’s neighborhood are definitely more street smart, though I know I cringed every time one of them ran onto the road to get a ball.  I was standing on the side walk with my eyes on the lookout for cars, more for Brandon’s sake since he’s new to an environment like that.

For dinner, Estelle fired up the BBQ and we had dinner at her place and it was great.  We left around 8:30pm, I dropped my mom off then we headed home.  Not much relaxing, Maggie had to give Brandon a bath and I packed my guns for tomorrow, ugh what a rush.  I wanted to post more details but as you can see in the pictures, today was pretty darn awesome. 🙂
