So today I returned home to see a very heavy package, a set of S&J AR500 Level 4 armour!  They’re easily 20 lbs and thankfully I’m not going to be the one using them they’re for Brayden as I’m going to trade him these for his level 3 ceramic plates.  They’re much lighter and I’m not as strong so yeah if I had to use plates I prefer to run ceramic though they are more fragile than these.

The fun didn’t stop there, I also got my Palmetto State Armory 10.5″ 7.62×39 upper!

I took the KAC RIS, Surefire M952, Aimpoint M2 off the Norinco and slapped them onto this thing along with my Colt “M4 Carbine” (semi only) lower and a BUIS.  I am thinking about swapping the Magpul CTR stock for another crane to do the MK18 Mod 0 look properly but I’m not in a rush for that and we’ll see what the future brings.  Unfortunately 7.62×39 uppers are a relatively new phenomenon up here so mags are in short supply though I do have 5 incoming so that should do me for now…

Can’t go to the range (no mags anyway) this weekend but I’m definitely hitting it next weekend and hope the mags come in on time.
