Today we went to African Lion Safari (it’s a yearly thing for us now) bright and early and I’m always glad we’re early risers because it gets so damn busy later in the day!  Anyway after a quick pit stop we drove through the safari, last year we saw the white lions fighting and this year…  Well it seems one of the males wanted some action haha.  Brandon’s reaction when he saw it was so innocent, he said “it’s funny the boy lion is sitting on the girl lion”, ahh to be young again. 😉

Yeah I took a lot of photos, it’s so damn easy to take pictures with the Canon 7D!  Oh some of the pictures look weird because of the car windows.  Hehe we were teasing the ostrich by putting our fingers on the window, he thought it was food and would peck at them.  After driving around we had a quick lunch then went to the splash area so Brandon could play with the water, lol he loves that and I love taking pictures of it. 😉

We played at the park till around 2pm then came home, I’m glad we got to ride the elephant alone this year, last year we had to go with others which kind of ruined the fun…  Brandon was a bit apprehensive but once on the animal (named Maggie lol) he was telling me about how much fun it was.

Maggie and I was tired from our outdoor adventure so we stayed home the rest of the afternoon and had a small BBQ dinner that was pretty good.  I should probably write more but the day was a ton of fun and I’m glad my boy enjoyed himself, that and the pictures tell the whole story…
