This morning I took Brandon to the Scarborough bluffs to feed the birds, it’s something he enjoys and I wanted to snap some pics so I brought along my Canon 7D as well.  As luck would have it, after I took one or two pictures the small LCD on the top flashed “Error 40”, a quick search on the internet with my phone revealed a battery issue and I didn’t bring a spare. 🙁  While I was fairly certain it was a bad battery, I was a bit apprehensive about it.

As I mentioned I was able to snap a few pictures but that was before the birds really gathered around.  I absolutely love bringing Brandon here and it’s so sweet when he calls the birds his friends.  I brought his bike down too, he likes to ride it around and I could use the walk, while we were near the rocks, we saw these big mounds of sand and Brandon wanted to run between them.  The last picture is taken with my Samsung Galaxy S7, at least that worked.

After about an hour we went to Toys R Us to buy his friend a birthday present for next week’s party and then came home.  The afternoon was pretty uneventful, went to Brandon’s swimming class then relaxed the rest of the day.  Had a quick BBQ dinner, later I played with Brandon dinosaurs where he’d be attacking me and throwing me off the sofa then repeat.  LOL his laughs are so sweet and it’s nice what will keep him entertained.

Oh Slinky likes to sit at the top of the stairs and look down at us in the living room, hehe making sure everything is ok and I thought he looked pretty cute. 🙂
