I was busy on the weekend and today at work so I didn’t have time to post anything till just now.  We picked up Maggie’s Toyota on Friday and thank godshe has her car back!!!  I mean we still had the Mini but it did feel like we were fighting a bit for a vehicle to do various things over the lat month, so this should make things easier.

Saturday was pretty low key, we went to Play Again Sports to buy Brandon a new pair of skates and helmet since he’s too big for his old set and then we went out for Korean food for lunch.  In the afternoon Brandon and I played at home while Maggie went out to run some errands, then had a quiet evening.

Sunday I took a colleague from work to the range for and haha I love introducing newbies to guns. 🙂  Iryna is a small statured girl like Maggie and I had a feeling she’d like the Ruger 10/22 & S&W M&P22 guns most and well I was correct.  I had to laugh when I passed her the 10/22 and she it was heavy.

We spent a few hours at the action range (where I bring all newbs) and shot pretty well overall!  I was impressed when shooting steel, she was able to hit the 8″ plate 7/10 with the HK SFP9!  I didn’t troll her with the 3″ magnum slug but she was a good sport and tried all the guns, she didn’t like the higher powered stuff but that was expected.

For the record YES MAGGIE KNEW, lol why is that one of the first questions when I tell someone I brought a girl to the range.  She’s not the first girl from work I’ve taken to the range and won’t be the last as I like to introduce new people to shooting. 🙂

We left just past 12 and after dropping her off I went home, Maggie & Brandon invited Sophie over and it’s cute to watch those little kids play.  While they were upstairs I cleaned my stuff and rested up for the work week.

Today, well I don’t talk about work here and we just got back from B’s badminton class, I was happy because he played pretty well. Now Maggie is going to give him a bath then she’ll put him to bed, ugh my day is over already.  Well back to the grind tomorrow!
