IDIOTS!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Right because Republicans really care about giving people health care… Yes the ACA sucks, Obama should have pushed for single payer but instead to try and be bipartisan, he got congress to pass a Republican plan.  It also drives me nuts how short a memory Americans have, yes insurance has gone up but at lower percentages than before the ACA.

Since the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) health insurance marketplaces first took effect in 2014, news story after story has focused on premium increases for certain plans, in certain cities, or for certain individuals. Based on preliminary reports, premiums now appear set to rise by a substantial amount in 2017.

What these individual data points miss, however, is that average premiums in the individual market actually dropped significantly upon implementation of the ACA, according to our new analysis, even while consumers got better coverage. In other words, people are getting more for less under the ACA.

One can disagree with Democratic policies but after 6 years it’s clear that the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare as Republicans like to call it has been a huge success. Also with all this repeal and replace talk, where is the god damn alternative?  Republicans have had 6 years and yet there are no details other than simple claims that their super secret plan will be better, sure.

I guess the thing that puzzles me most is the red states tend to be the poorer ones, they benefit greatly from programs like the ACA yet they vote against their own interests.  Whatever these people deserve what they get and I’m going to laugh very hard when Republicans come up with squat, they’ve had 6 years and had nothing I doubt they can figure out something comprehensive in a couple of weeks.

  1. God Bless America!

Because after Friday we’ll need all the help we can get.

The only lucky point is that Trump does support the 2A so my guns are safe.

    P.S.
I see in the news that the “Canadian Trump” O’Leary is making a run for the Prime Minister’s job down the road. Trump started the same way and look where it got him.

  2. Hi Tim.

What drives me nuts is that he campaigned on “draining the swamp” but has filled his cabinet with the worst of the swamp monsters. Is the American electorate not paying attention now because the election is over? I mean true he hasn’t done anything yet because he’s not in power and he could turn out to be a great president but he’s certainly surrounding himself with a lot of elite special interests. That should be alarming but I don’t hear anything from right wing groups, the left is screaming about it but it’s pretty silent on teh right. Is it ok because “their guy” is in office?

Yes he’s good on the 2A, might even expand things but I that does appear to be the only nice point. 🙁

Haha yes O’Leary is running for leader of the Conservative party and if he wins it’ll be really bad for gun owners here because he’s anti gun. So much for the gun movement throwing itself in bed with just the Conservative party… Luckily our system is a bit different, even if he becomes leader this year he’ll have to be in parliament taking policy lines and voting for the next 3 years because Trudeau the Liberal PM has a majority.

Hopefully he’ll be exposed for the opportunist that he is, like Trump he cares nothing about Canada and just wants more prestige and power.

  3. Hi Colin,

I am no political expert but I think Trump got elected because many voters just didn’t like or trust Clinton. Instead they chose what they thought to be the lesser evil – Trump. If the Democrats would have had a better candidate, maybe Sanders, they might have carried the day.

To be fair we need to give Trump a chance and see how her performs. I agree with you, his cabinet is filled with 1%-ers who aren’t in touch with Middle Class America. We will see soon enough how things will go once the reality of politics creep in.

  4. Hi Tim.

I agree Hillary was an absolutely terrible candidate, in an election where the people wanted change, the Democratic party nominated the most pro establishment candidate they could, retarded. I wouldn’t trust Clinton either, she just changed positions too easily (mainly when politically expedient) and Trump ran a populist campaign and whether you liked him or not, you knew his policies. Clinton only had “I’m with her.”

Yes I’ve told my liberal friends who have been screaming that to be fair people need to see how Trump governs, his cabinet picks are ominous but the buck stops with him and he’ll be the one to make decisions, I hope that my gut feelings are wrong because what happens in America reverberates around the world.

    Good luck!
