Simon will have his funeral on Saturday, I can’t bring Brandon there so I’m going to get my mom to look after him. Someone set up a GoFundMe page to help with costs and I hope they reach whatever goal they can, we donated and I hope they get to the goal they’re trying to hit as I know funerals can be very expensive.

While browsing through the internet about the Simon Cico story I happened upon your blog entry about this poor boy. I normally don’t post online but this story touched me at a deep level too.

Thank you for the kind words, yesterday’s funeral was the hardest one I’ve ever been to. I don’t know how his mom was able to keep her strength and composure, I wouldn’t have been able to do it. It’s just tragic all around I will miss him very much.
