Forced relaxation

So this weekend we took things slow because well next weekend we have the Beavers/Cubs camp and that’ll be very tiring lol.  Saturday we didn’t do much, Brandon went to Kumon & badminton but we skipped swimming because that time conflicted with dinner with Megan & Frank.  They’re getting married in a few weeks and our family got to meet his side of the family and it was great.

After we returned home I mowed the lawn and took the hedge trimmer to cut a bunch of branches coming from my neighbors tree.  I love that thing, it’s so much fun and the branches were coming across the walkway at the side of the house and that wouldn’t do.

This morning Maggie did a 5 km run for work, Brandon and I didn’t participate I guess perhaps next time we should.  The rest of the day was spent at home relaxing which was great and I do feel well rested. 🙂

We also listed our trusty Toyota Matrix for sale, it’s served us well but we’re looking to get something different so off it goes.

Got it washed and detailed, clean it still looks pretty good and with 108k km on it through 8 years driving, the car doesn’t have much mileage on it.  It’s served us well and I hope that we can sell it quickly. 🙂
