On Monday I picked up a new lens, a Canon 70-200mm F4L IS USM it’s substantially lighter than the F2.8 versions and considering we’re going to Europe next week for 10 days, relatively easy to lug around. 😉

I bought the lens used off Kijiji for a great price and it’s in absolutely mint condition, there aren’t even any wear marks on the lens hood!

The flower picture is actually from work, I brought my camera down to the office so I could play with it during lunch, yes I took more pictures but don’t want to post them publicly.  The rest were from earlier in the evening when we brought Brandon to the park all shots were done at F4.  Still very much an amateur but I’m getting better and am thankful that this lens works well with crop sensor cameras like my Canon 70D and the pictures are much sharper than with my everyday 24-105 F4 L IS.
