I’ll talk about my weekend tomorrow but last night my mom took Brandon and Maggie and I went for a drive because it’s something we love to do, just to chill and listen to some music is a lot of fun.  Anyway as usual I absolutely love the gas mileage I can get with the Toyota Prius, it simply rocks.

I reset the trip monitor to see how efficiently I could drive, overall I hit 3.5L / 100km (67 mpg), I filled up out of town as gas prices were over $0.10 cheaper and the last half hour I hit 3.2L / 100km (73.5 mpg)!  That’s simply amazing, no highway driving this was purely local roads though the limits were a bit higher at 80km/h.  It’s so much fun to try and eek out the best mileage one can get, I wonder how much better I can do…  It’s the accelerations that kill me, I don’t mind going slow but I hate getting to my cruising speed at a snail’s pace.
