Well today was certainly a wild ride… I brought the Toyota Prius to Anthony’s shop to get an oil change and to also change the transmission fluid, good thing I did because it was extremely dirty. Anyway changing both fluids cost me $150 and I’m happy with that, next time around I told him I’m going to change the car’s coolant too. After the car maintenance, I went to Estelle’s home to play with Georgia and she’s so damn sweet!!!
At ~2 1/2 years old she’s full of energy and wonder, I absolutely love her baby voice and talking to her is a lot of fun. Really reminds me of when Brandon was at that age, they’re so innocent and sweet! I hung around till about 3pm then left, when I got home I noticed there was an electrical burning smell I searched in vain but couldn’t find it and had to pick up Brandon from school to take to piano class.
Maggie can attest to our house being cool but it was abnormally cold and when looked at the thermostat it said 15c and immediately knew something was wrong with the furnace. Well my 7 year old Coleman furnace had a seized blower fan, I had someone from Mersey Heating & Air Conditioning (recommended by Jason & Lisa down the street) come into inspect it and he confirmed that was the case. Well anyway it’s going to be roughly $900 to fix and right in the middle of the holiday season argh!
Sigh these things happen, the technician said my furnace was not particularly old or in bad condition but sometimes these things happen.
Maggie and I decided to drop Brandon off at my mom’s place to spend the night and we’ll deal with the cold. On the bright side, Slinky is pretty puffy and cute don’t normally see him like that.
