On Friday Maggie and I went to my folks place for Christmas dinner with my dad’s side of the family and it was fun.  Typical family gathering, lots of food, some people were playing poker & mah jong and video games.  Nothing much to report but I do have a few pictures to share. 🙂

Christmas Chinese style with a xmas jade plant.  Simba was pretty good even though there were about 30 odd people at my folks place and of course a picture of Estelle. 😉  If she didn’t react like that I probably wouldn’t go through the effort but it’s fun haha.

Sunday was my mom’s family’s turn at Aunt Dora’s place and man can Jashen cook!  I don’t like fish but I have to say the grilled salmon was superb, as was the lemon cake desert.  I don’t remember what he’s studying but man he might want to think about being a chef.  Talked to Jason and Emily about kids, heh Even and Lee are pretty well behaved.

It was a fun night as well, we don’t (or at least me) spend enough time with my mom’s side of the family and I kind of feel bad about that but we’ll be having a bunch over later in February.
