Even though we were in the midst of a world wide recession, 2009 was an excellent year for Maggie and I. Career wise I’m doing very well, even got a couple of raises as the year went along. We bought a house (I couldn’t stand that condo anymore) and here’s the big news…

Maggie is pregnant! Technically I shouldn’t say anything because she’s only 2 months pregnant and if there are complications it usually happens in the first trimester but whatever most of my family and many of my friends know already so there it is.  The pregnancy was planned and I’m looking very much forward to it. At first when she told me I didn’t really understand what it meant but it’s starting to sink in now, the responsibility part anyway but I’m ready.  I don’t care if we have a boy or girl, the only thing that concerns me right now is that the fetus is healthy.

Anyway I’m sure I’ll blog more about this later, 2009 you were a great year for me and one I’m going to remember for the rest of my life. 🙂
