Niagara Falls & B’s growing up!

Today the family went to Niagara Falls because we didn’t have any other plans and it was a lot of fun. Earlier in the week I took delivery of a GOBE 10 stop ND filter so of course I used it while we were at the falls.  Brandon and I also went to do the Journey Behind the Falls walk and while the lower observation deck is really cool, the walk and two spots that open to the falls is rather disappointing.  Definitely would not shell out the money for that again.

After lunch Brandon played 18 holes of mini golf at the Dinosaur adventure course and he loved it.  Maggie and I went as non participants and took pictures of the boy.  On the way home, Maggie wanted to go to the mall to return something and since I had to use the bathroom we all went.  I used the bathroom and came home with an Arcteryx jacket, at least it was only $140 and on sale…

The dinosaurs looked really awesome even up close and Brandon loved it!  While I’ve been tempted to pick up a Sony mirrorless camera, I absolutely love how durable Canons are and the 6D Mark II took a pretty heavy shower and is no worse for wear.  Oh on another note, Brandon looks so mature in the photos sigh he’s growing up so fast and I’m not ready for him to be big yet. 🙁

Knowing that the elements (or in this case subjecting it to a lot of mist from the water fall) are no match for my camera allows me to take it anywhere!

With airsoft, the bluffs & now today’s adventures my feet are absolutely killing me.  Nothing planned for tomorrow but I may pick up Brandon a new bike, his knees are hitting the handlebars and is making things uncomfortable.  A few weeks ago I picked up a bike hitch rack so we’ll go somewhere nice for a spin as well.
