Addicted to Airsoft…

Last night I went to TTAC3 with Mike D and Jia and it was a blast as always. It was their first ever airsoft game and what better than to throw them into the thick of things right. πŸ˜€ Both played quite well and Jia shot me in the chest once square, of course it was Mike’s fault because I had to turn around and tell him to advance with me. πŸ˜‰ Both were a bit wussy (haha!) and I had to bring down two extra vests as well as face mask for Jia. Lugging around 20kg of gear through the TTC is not fun though

Mike’s favorite weapon was the MP5K it outguns most pistols and is very maneuverable. Jia liked pistols more, they’re smaller and easier to use overall. I was very happy using my TM Hi Cap 5.1, I totally love that thing and it’s just so accurate! Once I break in the slide and get better gas mileage, it’ll be the perfect side arm.

Overall the game was pretty good but there was one guy I thought was rather annoying. All he’d do was camp behind in corners the whole game! There’s not much skill in that and reminds me of those “CS kiddies” who don’t know how to play. It was nice to see some of the other veteran players and my bud Chris showed me his totally beautiful WA 1911. Note to self must get a WA pistol in the future, not this year though, I promised Maggie I’m done buying guns in 2006. πŸ˜‰

All in all I think have two more airsoft buddies to play with and the more the better. πŸ˜€ Oh there are no pictures becuase I forgot my camera. πŸ™

  1. Heh… wusses, huh? We weren’t the ones who decided to lug a 40lb tactical vest around just because it was new…

Colin, that was an awesome experience, and you’ll be seeing me at airsoft again for sure!

  2. Haha hey it’s my new toy so of course I want to try it out. πŸ˜‰ LOL when Mark and I went to TTAC3 for the first time… well anyway I’m glad you had a good time, hope the fiancee didn’t give you a hard time about the welts on your arms and neck.

Next time I go to a field game I’ll let you know. πŸ™‚
