Had a busy day yesterday so I didn’t get to post an update.  Maggie took Friday off so in the morning we went to the beach as a family so Brandon could play in the water.  He must have been a fish in his previous life because he always loves going into the water.

Lake Ontario was freezing, so cold that if you stand in it for long it hurts, I wonder what the temperature was…  There wasn’t anyone really in the water other than perhaps up to knee height.  While it was hot, the breeze coming off the lake was refreshing so we definitely had a good time.

In the afternoon, Maggie took a nap so the boy and I went over to Megan’s house so he could swim and mess around lol.

Frank, Megan & Lily were enjoying themselves and the little one was up when we arrived so I took the opportunity to snap some photos and by is she sweet.  They also have a family of robins at their house which was pretty cute.  We left just before dinner, got home and fired up the BBQ yum!  I forgot to take photos of the food but needless to say it was very good and we need to BBQ more!

Today we went to the Cheltenham Badlands but it was closed!  Sigh disappointing since according to Google it was open so instead of wasting the day we went on a nice long drive.  Haven’t done one of those in a while and we had a good time.  North of Orangeville we saw a bunch of windmills and they make me happy.

The sooner we transition to green energy the better, anyway there were a ton and most were rotating.  Got home mid afternoon and just relaxed the rest of the day which is nice. 🙂  Can’t wait for tomorrow morning, the F1 season restarts and I hope my boy Lewis does well! 🙂
