Since both Brandon and I were off today, I took him to High Park for a walk and we found some very pretty wood ducks.  I had some bird seed with me so we baited the water and ground to attract the birds, good thing I did because they were pretty skittish and would swim away normally rather quickly.

There were also chickadees, red wing blackbirds, dowdy woodpeckers, mallard ducks, Canadian geese & mute swans.  The park is rather nice after playing with the birds, Brandon and I walked some of the trails.  We went home for lunch then hung around the house the rest of the day.

I did a little bit of yard work (a lot more needs to be done) and we had a small Easter egg hunt at home after dinner.  The boy still has like 7 candies outstanding but too bad it’s his bed time so he’ll have to try again tomorrow.
