I don’t know who Jeffrey Sachs is but good for him on pushing back on this insane BBC narrative, where he was brought in to discuss climate change and they open talking about China’s human rights abuses & whether the West can trust it.  Yes, I believe what China is doing to the Uighur population amounts to a genocide but that shouldn’t affect any discussions on climate change they’re different topics altogether.  Human rights are important but climate change will kill us all.  Good for Professor Sachs for pushing back and illustrating US government hypocrisy, they are in absolutely no position to lecture anyone about human rights.

Also why is a supposed news organization taking its talking points from the Biden administration?!?  Shouldn’t it be you know independent and report on the facts, “both countries suck but need to work together to combat climate change or we’re doomed!”
