Action packed weekend, literally

Saturday the weather was going to be beautiful so we went to Niagara falls and surprisingly the place was empty!  I guess since this was the first weekend where the province is open, people wanted to shop and that’s perfectly fine with me.  We even got to eat in a restaurant on the patio and it felt pretty nice.

We did the touristy thing walked around and since it was hot the mist was very refreshing!  It was starting to get pretty hot so we left around 1 and came home.  Didn’t do anything else other than relax, I’m the king of being lazy right. 😉

This morning Brandon opened up his next Kiwico package and this time it he built air cannons.

We played some tick tack toe with a supplied board he created from the kit and of course shot air at each other and annoyed Maggie by shooting air at her too. After we went back to the beach in Pickering so the boy could play in the water, he must have been a fish in his previous life lol.

Brandon is always so happy to be in the water, got his wonderful smile and laugh which makes me feel great. 🙂

While B was in the water, I took some photos of the birds flying around and that was fun as usual.

The terns were very successful fishing and even though there were seagulls everywhere, none attacked the terns to try and steal the catch.

Unfortunately not everything was good, in the afternoon Maggie had to go out and she got side swiped on the 401. 🙁  She’s ok thankfully she was going straight and the person hit her changing lanes and looking at the damage on the car, it does indicate that but they’re claiming no fault so Maggie will report it to the OPP and I guess we’ll see how it goes.  LOL we got it all detailed on Saturday too since I wanted to sell the Lexus (was going to list it on Monday) but meh whatever it’s just a car and it’s most important that she’s alright.

The damage doesn’t look so bad and you can see the other car hit Maggie in the middle with the front but yeah they said it wasn’t their fault so I guess we’ll have to let the cops & insurance figure it out now.  Most important thing is that she’s ok, the damage isn’t so bad (though it’ll be on it’s record now) and we can always get something else later.
