The dude’s teflon

So on our first Truth & Reconciliation day and Trudeau goes on vacation lol.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is spending the first National Truth and Reconciliation Day on vacation in Tofino, B.C., with his family, despite his official itinerary placing him in private meetings in Ottawa.

The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed the vacation in a statement sent to Global News.

“Yes the PM is spending time in Tofino with family for a few days,” Trudeau’s spokesperson wrote.

What an asshole but it’s clear Liberal supporters don’t care about anything he does there was the perfect opportunity to turf him and his corrupt party from power yet he got elected yet again.  Can’t wait for the teflon to wear off and people realize what a clown he is.

  1. Given that PM Trudeau’s father passed away on Sep 28th, and his brother passed away on Oct 2nd (in the BC area where the PM went to visit), I don’t have an issue that he spent sometime with his family. It is funny how naysayers are quick to jump on the PM but don’t take a moment to consider all the facts.

  2. When you’re the PM you signed up to serve the country and that should be a politician’s first duty. It was the first Truth & Reconciliation day, Trudeau represents the head of the government which wronged indigenous people over the history of this country, he talks a lot yet at a moment where he could have provided some actual healing and symbolism he takes a vacation.

I’m glad APTN is not giving him a pass, he’s no friend of the indigenous people of this country.

    Bonjour Colin.

Je crois que vous avez manqué cette vidéo d’une porte-parole des Premières Nations, elle semble avoir une opinion différente sur le voyage du premier ministre :

    Salut

  4. Apologies, despite being born & educated in Toronto I can’t read French. Sigh makes me wish I were a more better student as I love travelling to Quebec!

Of course, not all indigenous people are offended there’s a variety of opinions from those who don’t care to those who care a lot however on a day like the first Sept 30th, I would expect the PM & all high ranking politicians to make it a big deal (because it is). I think it goes a long way to show what Trudeau truly thinks of indigenous causes, just like how he called himself a feminist then didn’t bother listening to the strong women voices in his cabinet and sacked a bunch of them.
