Well yesterday certainly was busy! I met Stephen, Mario & Shawn at Vaughan Mills for lunch and after eating we hit Bass Pro shop for some goodies. 🙂 I picked up a single person tent and portable lantern for the upcoming May Muskoka game, I still need an inflatable ground pad and will get that shortly. Man that’s going to be an awesome game I absolutely can’t wait!!!
In the afternoon, Mario, Shawn & I (Stephen went to join his wife shopping at VM) went to to AirsoftDepot to pick up a few parts and I bought a new replica ACOG. It’s alright the optic is better than other replica ACOGs I’ve seen, yeah I’d love to buy a real one but don’t want to drop a grand on something like that. I also picked up a Magpul PTS sling for Jason as I was going over to his place later for BBQ & to watch UFC 129.
The BBQ was fun and I enjoyed Jessie’s cooking, she tried to mix things up and I thought it turned out well. LOL I steered clear away from the shrimp and stuff with mushrooms on them but thankfully there was a lot of other meat options. 🙂 The fights were good though the main events was boring. I’m more surprised at Jose Aldo’s performance than GSP’s, I knew the latter would keep things standing and play it safe as he always does but Aldo is usually so exciting and dynamic in his attacks. This time around after the first round, Aldo totally gassed and limped his way through the subsequent rounds yeah he still won but not in usual Aldo fashion. GSP is a good fighter but his style has certainly become boring, he lost his killer instinct. 🙁
I spoke to Maggie when I got home around 2AM, Brandon is doing well and everyone over there is happy to see him. She sent me some pictures of my little man, quality isn’t the best as it was taken with her iPhone.
Maggie tells me that his top teeth are popping out of the gums now so he’s a bit fussy. God I miss both of them so much.
Oh I just heard from my father that my aunt Jenny is dying. I wasn’t particularly close to her but she was always good to me so I’m sad to that she’ll be going soon. 🙁
ohh, no I miss you too. Btw, who is Jenny?

I’m not sure if you met Aunt Jenny much, she’s Alex’s and Daniel’s mother. She’s in her 80s and is always very frail, when you’re back I’ll tell you more about it.
