God damn it!

Maggie picks me up from the subway after work these days and as I’m walking to the car I noticed that the rear right tire looks odd. It’s busy at the subway pick up so I figure nothing of it and drive home. With the car in the driveway I walk around for a closer inspection and see that there’s a quarter sized piece of rubber gouged out of the side wall and you can see the steel belt. Maggie says she didn’t do it but I don’t really believe her because she’s scraped up the car before and hasn’t told me…

Tire

The tire has less than 3k on it so this pisses me off a lot and it’s not safe to drive with so I have to replace it with something. I have a spare Bridgestone EL400 that I bought last year to replace the blown tire, I guess I’ll put that on but man this is very frustrating indeed. Sucks that I now have 3 good tires and one shit tire, maybe I’ll just buy another Michelin Primacy instead.

  1. You run over a bottle on the road the other day. Stopping blaming on me! 🙁

  2. Maggie, while I’m upset at the tire you need to understand why I thought immediately it was you. You never tell me whenever you scrape the bumpers or when the car gets dings, I have to find out myself. If you keep these things from me my natural thoughts are that you did it. I don’t know how the tire got damaged but you have to be honest with me when something happens, if you continue to try to hide issues you’ll always be the prime suspect.

I have done my fair share of things to the car but I’ve always fessed up to it.
