So today we went to the CNE and it was a lot of fun! 🙂 Maggie’s mom can’t walk very fast or far because of her knee issues so we got Mrs. Nee to tag along and keep her company. They were looking more at the the stuff that was on sale while Maggie, Brandon and I went to play the games. Unfortunately he didn’t seem to want to go on any of the rides, even the kiddie ones were “scary” which was disappointing but we didn’t force him to ride on anything he didn’t want to go on.

We had lunch in the Food building, surprisingly it wasn’t that busy and we were able to get a decent spot. Ahh walking into that building brings back memories too of when I was 16 or 17 working at NY Fries. That was a fun summer, lol the work sucked but I had a great time. Anyway Mrs. Nee gave Brandon a piece of her pizza, he asked for a plate but didn’t have one so instead he grabbed a napkin, folded it out so it would support his piece of pizza and used that as a plate. I was so shocked, lol even I didn’t think about that, good boy. 🙂

After lunch we went back to the kiddie playground to try to coax Brandon to go on more of the rides and that was only partially successful. We walked around and played some games till 3PM then met up with Maggie’s mom and Mrs. Nee who spent a couple of hours in the Arts and Crafts building. We were all tired so we called it a day and went home, man I hate downtown traffic, glad I don’t have to drive through that crap all the time.

Brandon did a lot of walking and when we got into the car he fell asleep pretty darn fast. On occasion he’d snore which was cute and he looks so peaceful when he’s asleep. Sigh I am not looking forward to Maggie and Brandon leaving to go to China for a month on Tuesday, that is going to suck a lot.
