Earlier in the year I cancelled my subscription to NewScientist because I found it simply too expensive but they have a holiday sale and I resubscribed woo! $100 a year is still pretty expensive compared to most other magazines but that’s better than $80 per quarter lol!

Oh and I missed Carl Sagan‘s birthday, it was on the 9th. Growing up, he was one of my favourite astronomers, I loved watching Cosmos and reading his books. Unfortunately he left us far too early and science surely misses his charisma and intellect.
