So today I went to the Ontario Science Center with Estelle, Imran, my mom, Maggie and Brandon for my birthday. Yes officially it’s tomorrow but I hate busy Sundays so we decided to go today and it was great. I have a lot of great memories from there when I was young and even though it was my bday, I thought Brandon would enjoy it. 🙂
We got there first thing in the morning and it was nice because there weren’t that many kids around (relatively) yet and we didn’t have to fight much for activities. Brandon didn’t like the astronomy exhibit unfortunately because it was dark and he was scared but he liked pretty much everything else. We spent a lot of time playing the games and it’s definitely a good family venue, haha at times even my mom was into it. 😉 It’s a shame Brandon is only 3 because he can’t fully comprehend what’s going on, oh well I guess I’ll just have to take him there again when he’s older.
There was a lot of space in the electricity exhibit and he ran around a lot… I initially wanted him to touch the Van de Graaff generator so his hair would stand up but I was worried he’d take his hand off and get a shock. After walking around for a few hours we were all hungry so we had lunch there and Estelle seemed to enjoy playing with Brandon while he was eating. After that we walked around a bit more and called it a day.
I had a lot of fun and am very happy that Estelle suggested it! Too bad my father, Megan and Frank couldn’t make it but they were tied up with other things so no big deal, till next time right. 🙂
