I certainly feel bad for anyone who has to be out and about this weekend as there was an ice storm between Friday and Saturday and a much bigger one last night! I was fortunate, I didn’t lose lose power to my home though I know my dad lost power for a bit. Waking up this morning, I was greeted by broken branches from my neighbor’s front yard tree and everything is truly covered in a thick coating of ice.

It wasn’t cold so I opened the patio slider to take the backyard picture and it was pretty eerie to hear the trees crackle as it sways back and forth.

In other news I needed to replace the rear brakes and do a bit of minor maintenance on my car and the repair bill was $700… Sigh oh well whatever if it has to be done it has to be done. With the family gone I have the opportunity to play God of War Ascension, I originally picked this game up back in March and it sat in the cabinet in its original wrapping till now lol. It’s good though the story seems a bit lacking and I don’t feel as engaged as with the previous GOW games, hopefully it gets better later on.
