Very relaxing weekend!

On Friday Maggie and I met up with Mark, Charlene, Alan and John (Alan’s bro) at the Paramount to see Transformers. The movie was pretty hot and I have to say holding 6 spots in a prime location sucks, luckily the guys got there relatively quickly. 😉

Overall I thought the movie was pretty good and I enjoyed it. The 2 ½ hours passed really quickly and I would have liked a bit more focus on the transformer units themselves but that’s alright. Definitely a movie you should see, even if you weren’t into the toys the action is worth the ticket price. Only qualms I had with the flick was most of the Transformers chose to be GM vehicles, yuck.

After the movie the six of us went to Congee Wong for dinner, before hitting the restaurant though Alan swung by my place first to pick up a package that was delivered that day. Even though it was around 10:30PM, we still needed to wait about another 20 minutes for a table, once we were seated I gave Charlene a Multicam BDU that some of us decided to get her. She put in a lot of work for the zombie game a few weeks back and it was our way of saying thanks. 😉 The rest of the night consisted of me talking at everyone, lol hey I was the most social one there and if no one was talking, I had to keep everyone entertained. 😀

On Saturday I lofted around the condo, cleaning a few things up and tweaking my airsoft guns for the upcoming QuickPass game. In the early afternoon Charlene called to ask if Maggie and I were doing anything. She had asked Mark to go to Dave and Busters and was wondering if we were interested in tagging along. Maggie was busy studying and I didn’t really feel like going at first but relented and went along. Also going was Alan, Jason and Jessie so we’d have a decent sized group that night.

It has been quite some time since I went to an arcade but I had a lot of fun. I was rather surprised at how tiring it was on the shoulders playing Time Crisis! After a 10-15 minute session of playing the game, I could barely keep my arms up. Surprising since I play a lot of airsoft and my TM Hi Capa 5.1 is much heavier than the plastic game pistol. Anyway I played various games and later we decided to grab a bite to eat at Boston Pizza. Service was slow but overall a great night, I always enjoy hanging out with the guys. 😉

Mark seemed to like the candy game the most, haha such a big smile when going for that gross candy… 😉 Charlene got 5th in the Sniper Scope game, she kept emphasizing that to us. LOL sorry, I’d prefer you as a rifleman than the sniper backing me up when I rush. 😉 😀

Err on Sunday I did absolutely nothing. I watched the F1 race at Silverstone in Britain and it was quite entertaining. Took a nap in the afternoon and did nothing the rest of the day. 😉 I’m taking a few weeks off airsoft and man with weekends like this, I don’t know if I can go back to playing because I’m having too much fun! 😀
