Well that kind of ruin’s the fun

Well this is reassuring to know, the Rubik’s cube can be solved from any arrangement in 26 moves or less. 🙂 Mathematicians think it only takes 20 moves but there’s not enough computing power to prove this yet. If you have a second, check out the dude’s YouTube video that is pretty awesome.

Computer scientists Dan Kunkle and Gene Cooperman at Northeastern University in Boston, have proven that any possible configuration of a Rubik’s cube can be returned to the starting arrangement in 26 moves (or fewer).
