We had a pretty leisurely weekend here at the Sun family home… Saturday morning I took the car into Toyota again and unfortunately the check engine light went away so the dealership couldn’t do anything. With Maggie working in Oakville and putting around 100 KM a day onto the car we were close to our mileage service recommendation so I went ahead with an oil change as well so I don’t have to bring the car in yet again in a month’s time.
It didn’t take too long for the oil change so I stayed at the dealership, after everything was done I went home and had a lazy day with the family. I was thinking about hitting Ultimate Airsoft with Jason but bailed because I was indecisive, too bad as he said it was a good game.
This morning while I was watching the F1 race, Maggie and Brandon noticed that a crane fly had gotten into the house so Maggie trapped it and put it into the bug magnifier for Brandon to look at. 🙂
After the race completed (woo Hamilton won) we went to Canadian Tire, there I bought an inexpensive spotting scope, some 30 amp fuses for my PTW and picked up a pair of recreational ice skates for Brandon. We then went to Play it again sports to buy a helmet, some elbow and knee pads the ice skates that were for sale were more expensive than the recreational pair that we picked up earlier so we’ll keep those. With how quickly Brandon is going, I think the ice skates will only last him one season so no point in spending a lot to give away or sell later.
For lunch since we were in the area we went to the Pho restaurant at Yonge & Steeles that we use to go to a lot and ahh memories. 🙂
After lunch we stayed around the house till just now when Brandon wanted to go for a walk so we went to the school playground to play for a bit.
Sigh it’s so dark at 8PM now. 🙁 We I chased Brandon around the play ground for about 20 minutes before he got tired and wanted to go home, worked great because Maggie put him to bed in no time which is great.
I enjoy my work but sigh a full 5 days next week! Oh well, that’s how life goes too bad I don’t play the lottery haha.
