Starting last weekend and moving forward we’ll be giving Brandon a $4 ($1 for every year he’s old) every Saturday. It’s important for kids to learn about money and how to manage it, I’m going to insist that he saves at least 25% of the money that he receives (though he’s not really spending money now anyway). It took me a while to learn to manage money and I want him to develop good habits right from the beginning.

Yes he’ll be a spoiled kid when he grows up but at least he’ll be realistic with his money or at least that’s the hope.
