Brandon was good on Saturday so I decided to reward him with a toy on Sunday, it’s plastic dinosaur bones encased in plaster and comes with a plastic chisel, hammer and brush. It’s kind of educational and gets him interested in science even if he doesn’t know what that is yet. 😉

The design was pretty poor, the plaster was as hard as a rock and I have no idea how one was suppose to use the dinky hammer included so I got my rubber mallet lol and that worked like a charm. 🙂 Hehe it was so cute to hear Brandon go “Oh wow” or “Look daddy!” when we hit bone.

A bit later my mom came over and I took her & Brandon to Ikea, wanted to get out of the house so Maggie could do some work she brought home. Brandon likes playing in the kids area so after signing him in, we watched him play in the ball pit for a few minutes and it’s great to see all the joy in his face. Later I walked around Ikea with my mom, didn’t buy anything more killing time for the little guy so he could play and afterwards we went to Harvey’s for lunch.

After we got home we didn’t do much and played at home the rest of the day… I was really tired and fell asleep on the couch for an hour which was nice and that was it.

Back to the grind today, hope the week goes by smoothly.
