Oh man this is “awesome”, according to Prez Bush, America is in the lead on climate change!!! Heh take what you want, we’ve all heard W say stupid things but that has to be one of the dumbest (and sad) and that’s saying a lot because he’s good at putting his foot in his mouth. I guess it’s true if he meant that the US is the leader in doing nothing about the problem or that it’s the leading polluter…
Bush’s claim defies the imagination. At the UN conference in Bali in December, the US objected to the proposal — backed by Britain and the EU — to cut carbon dioxide emissions 24-40 percent below 1990 levels by 2020. “We have problems with defining the numbers up front,” the White House’s head climate negotiator explained.

It’s all in how you read his statement really. Technically, the US IS in the lead on the issue of climate change… They’re a leading cause.

Hey Colin, it’s Scott. I like reading your blog. You just got to read between the lines about “Americans being the leader of Climate Change”. They are the leader in changing the climate because they are not doing crap about it and that’s why the Climate keeps on changing for the worse =)
