Maggie is feeling a lot better today the muscles don’t hurt as much but she’s had a persistent headache and said she felt like vomiting earlier (that passed). Unfortunately her doctor’s office is closed and the local walk in clinic closes at 2PM so I told her that if she feels worse, we may have to go to the hospital again. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Last night I picked up my rental from Enterprise and it’s a 2014 Buick Verano. It’s the same size as our Toyota Matrix but the cabin feels tighter, though its interior is more “luxurious” I guess. The car comes equipped with all season tires which kind of sucks so I told Maggie that when she drives, she’ll need to be easy on the gas, leave lots of room around her and brake early. I’m not use to a car with a trunk and I found that when I backed into my driveway I had to check a few times to make sure I wasn’t going to run into my garage lol.
We skipped soccer class this morning, Maggie wasn’t up for it so that’s no big deal. She had to go see a client at lunch time so it was just Brandon and I for a bit, till he took a nap. That gave me about an hour to do stuff, then I woke him up and met Maggie at his swimming class. LOL it was cute to watch him swim today, the instructor was trying to teach him how to breath in the water and use his arms and you could tell it was very awkward for him. Meh that’s how it goes though and he’s 4 so we can’t really expect too much right.
When we returned home, Brandon wanted to go outside and build a snowman so we did that and it was a lot of fun. 😀
Haha not the best snowman but meh the snow wasn’t that great for packing. While we were building it, Brandon and I kept throwing snowballs at each other and man I absolutely love his laughter, it’s so sweet and pure.
We’re going to skip skating tonight too and have a quiet family night at home, looking forward to it because tomorrow I have to get up early as I’m going to the range with Brayden. 🙂
