This is a couple of years old but I just saw it and it’s very relevant in Canada as well.

It’s super important for us to raise the next generation to be scientifically competent and literate, without a strong foundation in the sciences the rest of the world will quickly pass us by and innovations will be done by others around the world.  Children are curious about the world and I’m working hard to try and keep Brandon interested in it by talking about how thing are made, where they come from, etc.  I want my boy to make a mark in the world through science or at least that’s the dream. 😉
