Man I don’t know what was wrong with Brandon but he was super fussy this weekend and acting up. Saturday we didn’t feel like going to soccer class so we skipped it, instead we went grocery shopping then met up with Stephen & Helene for a dim sum lunch. I see Stephen fairly often but not Helene and Stephen doesn’t see the fam much.
After we went home, Maggie went to take a nap and Brandon well he was acting up so she couldn’t sleep well. Swimming was alright, it seems like Brandon enjoys it so that’s good at least he likes something. Maggie and I didn’t feel like going to skating either so we bailed on that too and went out for dinner at this Taiwanese restaurant which I don’t particularly like because now twice when I order a chicken dish, it’s full of joints and cartilage yuck.
I was suppose to go play airsoft but bailed because Mach 1 closes at 10PM and by the time we were finished the activities it just wasn’t worth the effort. 🙁
Sunday we started bright and early and went to Walmart to finish buying some xmas gifts and yes I hate this season. I don’t think I’ve ranted about it yet but yeah I hate it. Since Brandon was not behaving the day before we didn’t buy him a toy and I think he learnt that we’re not going to get him one every time we go…
Later we met up with the one of Brandon’s school mates and her family to see The Naughty Listers at The Second City. It was fun but too mature a theme for Brandon though he did like some of the Frozen, TMNT & Lego movie references.
On the Sheppard subway Brandon was sharing a seat with a boy named Caleb I think… Him and his mom were riding the subway because he likes trains and the mom was nice enough to let Brandon sit in her seat. My little guy was scared at first but after he got comfortable he enjoyed watching the train move through the tunnel too. After the show we walked through the PATH with the other family and haha Brandon always likes to hold other girl’s hands which is so cute.
Anyway we got home and relaxed the rest of the day, prepping some of my guns to go to the range with Mario tomorrow so that’ll be fun.
