They have the guts…

Creationism is not science plain and simple. I’m glad that these Nobel laureates are standing up to something which is blatantly wrong.

Creationism took centre stage twice last week at the British Association for the Advancement of Science (BA) festival – an event supposedly dedicated to the celebration of science.

First there was the Royal Society’s director of education, Michael Reiss, who called for creationism to be discussed in UK science classes. “Creationism is best seen by science teachers not as a misconception, but as a world view,” said Reiss, an evolutionary biologist, but also an ordained Church of England priest.

Sigh it’s a travesty that people around the world which rely on reason and logic abandon both when dealing with religion and the concept of god. There is no god out there, all we have are each other on this small planet.
