Was too busy to post yesterday but we started off the day by going to Ripley’s Aquarium and it was great.  Yes we’ve been there probably 3 or 4 times but Brandon loves animals and it’s a place he enjoys going so why not right, what was better was that they had their Boxing day sale and admission was 30% off woo.

Brandon is so funny, as he grows up he’s scare of different things and this time around he was afraid of the sandbar sharks.  He didn’t want to get close to them when they swam by and when I put up my hand as if I were going to pet them, the little guy would yell “No daddy no NO!”  Haha he’s so sweet, I love it at least this time around he wasn’t too scared to pet the horseshoe crabs and was amazed to hear that it was around when the dinosaurs roamed the Earth.

One really nice thing was that the aquarium was almost empty!  I guess patrons are busy boxing day shopping or something but we loved how there was actually space to roam around, too bad Brandon made us rush through the exhibits and we were in and out in just over an hour!

We chilled and played games at home till dinner time and we went to Dragon Pearl near York Mills & Don Mills.  It was the xmas gathering for my mom’s side of the family and it was great to see everyone though Brandon missed Lee & Evan (Emily’s kids) as they were away.  Still the place was pretty nice and the food was good for a buffet, I ate too much but that’s alright because I’m already fat. 😉  Lyris & Jashen are expecting a boy shortly and I was telling them how being a parent is the most wonderful thing…  They’re super excited and I am too, I love babies!

When we got home Brandon went to sleep and I packed my stuff for the range…  I went today and it was fun but I’ll save that post for tomorrow and leave this a family thing. 🙂
