With Brandon sick, we had a pretty quiet weekend…  Saturday Brandon looked a lot better and since Maggie had to work, I took him to Reptilia to look at the animals and he had a good time. 🙂

Hehe even though he’s older, he was still afraid to stand next to the large snakes and alligator/crocodiles but I guess I don’t blame them.  Some of the big guys were active and well yeah they’re pretty darn big and scary!

You could tell Brandon wasn’t fully well yet because he was pretty lethargic so we hung around the house and played at home, didn’t do anything else and relaxed the rest of the night.

Today I took my mom out for an early pho lunch (Brandon’s choice, easy on the stomach), then as I dropped her off one of her elderly neighbors asked if I could give her a ride to church for a funeral service.  She looked like she was in her 80s and it’s hard to say no to an old lady so I was like sure but ugh what a mess.  She didn’t the name of the church, its address or have the contact information for anyone going to the service, just the general direction.

After driving around for 20-30 minutes I decided to stop and ask for directions, we were close to a funeral home so I figure that’s as good as any place to ask, low and behold they’re having the funeral there tomorrow.  They were able to direct me to the church that the service is being held so I drove there, walked the old lady into the place to find out that viewing is between 2-4 & 6-8pm that day so I ended up taking her home.

I don’t mind helping people out but god she was so bossy, kept telling me to drive in this lane, that lane, go this way, that way and to ask others for directions UGH!  Well whatever I consider that my good deed done for the day.

I worked a bit on Shawn’s Systema PTW and man he got a lemon but I isolated his issue to the power unit that needs to be replaced.  Also talked to Maggie about potentially buying a Toyota Prius this year so by next year we’ll replace our current cars for something more efficient…  Still talking but I’d like to go ahead. 🙂

Now just winding down, got work tomorrow.
