This morning Brandon and I went to celebrate Nicholas’ 5th birthday at Chuck E Cheese and it was pretty cool.  Even though we’ve lived close to one for 2+ years it’s a place we’ve never been but I have a feeling we’ll be going back fairly soon because the little guy had a great time playing.

There were a couple of other kids from school but it was mainly family and friends and all the kids played nicely.  Nicholas was all smiles and ahh to be young again.

After the party we went to Dollarama to pick up a few things because Sophie was coming over to play in the afternoon.  We got a bunch of outdoor toys but unfortunately the rain came a bit earlier than expected and the kids stayed indoors but still I got the stuff for next time.

Hehe I picked up a 1911 water gun that actually uses magazines, I thought that was pretty cool, messaged a few of my gun buddies saying I bought a new 1911 and they got a laugh too.  Sophie and Brandon play pretty well together and she really liked Slinky.  Kept asking her mom if they could get a cat, I’m glad the kitty is easy going and doesn’t mind being handled.  Despite the slight shower, I fired up the BBQ to grill up some food and it was fun.  First BBQ of the year and first of many, today was pretty busy and I’m glad Brandon had fun!
