Overall the Easter long weekend was pretty miserable and rained petty hard on Friday & Saturday.  Still with rain comes car windows covered with water droplets and that’s something I’ve always liked since I was a child. 🙂

Just a couple of pictures taken in my driveway before we went out for lunch.

Today I took the family to Center Island and it was great!  In the morning, it was rather cool but by lunch time & in the afternoon the weather was perfect for outdoors.  We brought along Brandon’s bike so he could ride in a new place and boy did he have fun.

There was an Easter event and we partook as much as we could, some of the lines were crazy long so we decided to just explore and play.  We left mid afternoon after walking ~12k steps and just before dinner Brandon put together a paracord bracelet.  I picked up this kit from Amazon and he had so much fun, it comes with one really cool buckle which he used along with the multicoloured strand of paracord that includes a whistle as well as a flint/steel combo.

He’s going to make another for my mom and for his teacher, maybe I’ll get him to make one for Georgia too, I think she’d like that.

Relaxing the rest of the day, while I’m off Maggie has to go to work tomorrow while Brandon and I go to the zoo.
