So today my mom picked up her new 2015 5 door Mini Cooper and it’s quite nice!  There’s a decent amount of leg room in the back seat (sits 3 across though very tight) and is slightly taller than her old model.  The interior is a lot more modern and very snazzy, she’s quite happy with it. 🙂

My mom drives quite a few people around so this will make it a lot easier with the two rear doors, rather than climbing in and out of the car all the time.  I tethered her iPhone to the car so now she can make and receive calls without touching her phone (lol told her not to talk and drive).

With that said I took possession of her old 2010 Mini Cooper…

She knew that I was looking to buy a new car this year so it worked out perfect for everyone, I already borrowed it many times just a bit disappointed it’s not the S model lol.  While there’s nothing wrong with our Toyota Matrix, I am still thinking about selling it so I can buy a Toyota Prius but in the mean time the Mini will be my car and Maggie will take the Toyota…  The Mini might not be fast but it’s a lot of fun to drive and handles like a go-kart, ahh now Maggie and I don’t have to fight on who’s using the car, it’s going to be so much more convenient. 🙂
